Seven Sisters is named after a cluster of seven coral pinnacles that rise from the sand in shallow water, each one its own miniature ecosystem packed with life. It is a relaxed, colourful site that works equally well for training, fun dives and macro photography.

The story of Seven Sisters

The 'sisters' lie within a protected area of the Aqaba marine park, where careful management has kept the coral pinnacles thriving. Their shallow depth and sheltered position have made them a long-standing favourite for skills practice and for divers easing back into the water.

Marine life & what you'll see

Each pinnacle hosts its own community: cleaning stations where wrasse service larger fish, glassfish swirling around the coral, and crocodilefish or scorpionfish resting on the sand between the towers. The variety packed into a small area makes it a brilliant site for spotting and photographing small subjects.

Diving Seven Sisters

With most of the action shallower than 10 metres, Seven Sisters is ideal for beginners, students and anyone who prefers a long, easy, no-stress dive. Calm conditions and short distances between pinnacles mean you can explore several 'sisters' in a single relaxed dive.

Highlights

  • Seven shallow coral pinnacles, each full of life
  • Protected marine-park site, great for training
  • Cleaning stations, glassfish and camouflaged predators
  • Easy, shallow and superb for macro photography

Seven Sisters is a shore & boat dive, so it can be enjoyed across most of the year; the calm gulf rarely sees big swell, and we dive it in small guided groups with all equipment available.
